Greeting the Fourth of July

The building housing the historical society in Duxbury, Massachusetts, is on Washington Street, on the parade route for the Fourth of July parade.  The historical society is ready.

Last night on a Duxbury beach the neighbors lit a bonfire and put on quite a fireworks show!

When I opened your blog my immediate reaction was 'Oh, WOW.' Outstanding, Jack. Happy 4th of July to you from an American living in England. Hum, that seems a bit odd even to me :).

Have a happy day. I presume your own house is similarly decorated?

I always like draped bunting. You see lots of flags around here but rarely bunting.
