A snowbird shows photos from southwest Florida and southern New England and other places he goes.
Peter Pan I presume :) I love that he's wearing a pink shirt, I would like to meet this merry musician Jack!
And a magical setting
How fine! How to enjoy life!
The light is amazing! Wonderful portrait, Jack.
such a simple instrument, such an enchanting sound.
And I thought only third grade girls played the Recorder.
That must have been wonderful.
So beautiful picture,I would love to enjoy the music there as well!Léia
I am sure of it, and you got a really fine portrait of him! Love the light...
Use to play the recorder years ago, but never in public. It was to entertain myself. This musician is obviously better than I ever was. I can almost hear the music in your photo.
Framed beautifully too! Wonderful portrait.
Seems like you could do a whole blog about Elizabeth Park, so much seems to go on there. This portrait is lovely, Jack. Pity blogs don't have a sound track too.
Unexpected musical surprises are wonderful. I heard a lone flute many, many years ago in the desert of NM that I have never forgotten. It felt as though I was in a different age. . .it was a mystical experience.
You forgot to say that he was wearing a lovely pink tee shirt. Somehow, it adds to the softness. It's a lovely portrait. Now of course I'm wondering where my recorder is. In my memory, it looks just like his.
Excellent portrait shot, Jack.
This is quite a nice portrait. I vaguely remember learning to play a recorder in grade school....
Mine used to be Red and White in school.
That is a wonderful moment captured! I haven't played a recorder since school days long ago, how lovely this must've been. Love his concentrating expression.
I had a recorder when I was in college. It was almost as cool as having an autoharp. This is an intimate portrait.
Great portrait with layers of color and detail. Very nice job of backlighting!Bises,Genie
You just brought back my memories from public school when I was a kid. Thanks Jack.
I wish I had been there to hear it!
