Fall in Greater Hartford

Here are some foliage photos from the central part of the state.  The first was taken
on West Avon Road in Avon.  The Norfolk photos were late in the afternoon,
in the "golden hour."  Today's photos were in mid-morning . . . still lovely light.

Now I can see why so many flock to New England at this time of the year. Lovely shots.

Oh my! What a gorgeous setting Hartford is in the autumn. The colors are simply stunning and your first photo looks like an ad from the Hartford Chamber of Commerce!

Wow those colors! Took my breath away. Fall images like that are hard to come by here in evergreen California

Golden photos, Jack, in all senses.

Considering that gold is now once again becoming THE thing to invest in, I'd say these are worth a lot of pleasure!

Look at those colours! I've only see them with my own eyes just a couple of times in northern European countries... as I (almost) always travel south. :-)

Gorgeous scenes Jack - I especially like the second one; that fencing sets it off beautifully, providing such a bright contrast to the rich colours. Happy weekend!
