A snowbird shows photos from southwest Florida and southern New England and other places he goes.
the kind of thing I liked to do when I was younger!
Scary and fun
That does look like fun! Great pics of the action.
a great way to cool off.
That looks refreshing as all get out. That'll cool you off.
In fact it's not "my kind of sport", and I don't know how to swim! LOL But I'm sure Cezar would love to try it!Looks very funny and your pictures are great!Léia
There is a place like this in Arizona that people go to all summer long. It's something I've never done. These people appear to have a great time.
There are places in Costa Rica for this, as well as just East of Phoenix/Scottsdale. It is fun.
I loved to do things like this when I was younger, too, and after looking at your photos, I want to do it again, but I'm not sure my kids would let me off the leash! Hope your week is off to a good start, Jack! Enjoy!
Awesome! I love tubing, it is so much fun and this looks like a great spot.
That looks awesome!
I love these scenes! Years ago when our kids were small, our entire neighborhood would float down the Apple River in Wisconsin with families and sometimes with just adults. Fun!!
Looks like fun but not for me!
Looks like Hell to me!
Nice name for it.
I think I would give it a try... Funny there should be a bus service!
Is this where they had the big tubing brawl recently? Great fun. Were you out there with your camera on one of the tubes?
It looks more like the kingdom of Neptune, but I would like to give it a try anyway!
Wow! This looks like fun Jack .... I'm sure the scenery on the way down would be gorgeous.
That would make for a fun time.
It sounds like a lot of fun! Strange name though. :)
Thunder Bay has a tubing place like that call River Rats. you bus over to the site and tube down Kaministiqua river! Summer cruising!
Satan must be very gentle in New England. Daniel Webster was able to defeat him.
Scary sounding place, lively looking shots ;-)
I've done this in Mexico in some ancient Mayan canals among the mangroves. The difference is the water was very calm so I moved quite slowly towards the Caribbean Sea, giving me time to watch all the fauna there in and out of the water. It was fantastic!
Wow -- that looks like fun! Nice pics, Jack. I'll pose the question everyone is wondering: Did you bubble wrap your camera, don a lifejacket and go tubing???
I bet the name makes it seem all the more appealing. :)
Looks FUN (and scary)
