Memorial Day Parade

How do I pick one photo(s) from an hour long parade with hundreds and hundreds of marchers?  Easy.   Ignore (again) the one-photo-a-day standard.

These photos tell a story, Jack. I'm glad you decided to show us more than one. These are wonderful.

Yes, I'm glad you ignored the "one a day", too!! These are terrific, Jack! I love how you've gone from the old men to those happy kids with some - teens in between! You are great at capturing movement! A perfect look at the parade for the day! And it does look as though everyone had a great time!

I love all four photos, they tell the story of the parade. The brownie girls remind me of my younger days.

Sometimes it's impossible Jack, well quite often actually haha! You picked well, going from the older generation through to the younger, wonderfully shown.

I agree Jack .... Sometimes it takes more than one pic to tell a story. All these proud and smiling faces deserve a spot on your post . A grand day!

Oh yes Jack I agree, sometimes the one-a-day rule DEMANDS to be broken. What a gorgeous selection !

As you know, Jack, I can never stick to just one photo so I'm pleased you broke the rules alittle - that's what rules are for! A great series of pictures giving me an idea of the range of people involved.

These are great! I remember marching with each of the groups you showed (er, except the elderly war vets. I was never one of those...)

The variety of facial expressions reflect the feelings of all the participants. Good job!
