From the Highs of African Safaris . . .

. . . to the lows of a Hartford root canal.

But, I will be glad to eat out of both sides of my mouth again.

(The endodontist and his assistant both like photography, so they were willing models for this shot.)

This is scary. Very creative to take a fantastic photo opportunity out of a root canal.

When I had a root canal, the doctor asked if I wanted him to remove the tooth instead of the root canal. I asked why, and he said about 5% of root canals do not work.

I said i like my 95% odds of success. Of course, you know what happened. When I later went through the oral surgery to have the tooth removed, In the middle of the surgery, I could hear (but fortunately not feel) the oral surgeon struggling, I heard him say to his nurse, "Wow. T\I don't think that there is another oral surgeon in the country who could have done that."

That is not what you want to hear while undergoing a procedure, but all is well.

At first I thought I was watching a scene from E.R.! :-) This is so cool, Jack, what a great idea! Hope everything is alright now.

This is fabulous Jack! I'm glad your dentist and his assistant have a good sense of humor. I am smiling just looking at this. I'm sure you were in good hands with this team. :)

Hmmmm you and I were in the same place this week, Jack! Fortunately, for me, mine was just for a cleaning, not root canal!! Not sure my dentist and assistant would have been happy, willing models though -- grumpy lot they are!! Well, I didn't actually bite them on purpose!! Have a great weekend and enjoy chewing on both sides again!!

You had the "A" team!

Great shot of my husband! In my opinion, he's the best endodontist in the universe. Thanks for taking such a great pucture of him. To his assistant, you look terrific and are terrific.

Love your creativity, Jack. This is wonderful. And, a tip of the hat to your endodontist and assistant. I had a root canal just before Christmas two years ago. It was no big deal. I've experienced pedicures that were more painful. Hope you're feeling better.
