The Dawn's Early Light

Walkers are out at all times of the day in my neighborhood.  I saw this woman
a few blocks away when it was dark and then again in Elizabeth Park
at the dawn's early light.

The magic hours of early morning and late afternoon light are the best times for photos, although I do not understand the science of why that is.

Jack: So nice to talk to you in the park yesterday in the middle of our picnic. What serendipity to meet the photographer whose work has given me so much pleasure and on such a lovely day in the park. Cindy

I like the composition of this photo plus the colors and catching the walker in mid-stride.

It is said that "real" photographers get up early, take a nap during the day, and head out again when the day begins to fade...

Were you out jogging?

'Tis a lovely photo!

Honestly Jack these last images have been so gorgeous, you can just 'feel' the crispness in the air. So you are an early morning walker also, such a nice way to start off the day.
btw are you going on safari?

A determined walker I'd say.

Jack, you have demonstrated once again that photography is all about light. Your last couple of days' posts are terrific.

I do love the light you have captured! Early morning is such a beautiful time of time, my favorite really, in spite of my love for sunsets! I also like seeing the walker in mid stride! Always look forward to your photos, Jack, great way to start the day!

The light at this time of day is gorgeous but I don't often see it and never willingly!

Dawn's early light is the best time of day for photographing. I love the way it's shining on these flowers. A beautiful scene. :)

More willpower than me. I like how you've set up the light and blocks of color.
