Old State House

The Old State House looked pretty good at night last weekend.  Contrast it with a mid-summer daytime view, here.

For some reason I prefer this autumn night shot. More atmosphere somehow. Very nice!

It does look lovely and 'soft' lit up warmly at night. It's a great old building and looked good in the daylight too.
I can just imagine the scenery on your trip down the Rhine Jack, historic I bet! Aimee and I went to Egypt last year and did the River trip down the Nile, the most amazing experience ever, I would recommend it highly to everyone!!

I like the night time shot! It's a wonderful building and lit up like that makes it look especially grand.

The lights give tp the State House a feeling of a ghost from the past rescucitating among the modern buildings!

I love the night shot and you do indeed have a knack for them! I love how different it looks compared to the newer/taller buildings it is surrounded by! Have a great day, Jack! Enjoy!

I think we all vote for the night shot! They have lit the structure well.
