Hartford's Night Skyline

This is the first night shot I have dared to post.  I still have no idea what I am doing.

This photo was taken from a bridge across the Connecticut River, looking back at the Hartford side of the river. We see the Connecticut Convention Center, the Marriott hotel and the Connecticut Science Center, and the Travelers Tower.  In the foreground is the amphitheater stage.

A daytime view from the opposite shore is here.

This is technically and artistically superb. An excellent composition, with lighted points of interest balanced left and right, high and low.

I agree with all that has been said, but would add that you have been holding out on us, Jack. This is superb! Bravo!

This should be used in a Chamber of Commerce brochure!

Nice shot, Jack! Night shots are trial and error for me but it's rewarding when they come out good (like this one).

No apologies for this one. I am most impressed. The technical aspects have been commented on by others so I'll merely echo everyone else. Terrific composition and use of light. Carry on!!

Very nice, Jack! You really need to ask for a raise if you're adding night photography into the mix with HDP. This looks like a relaxing location.
