Gelston House

The Gelston House is a traditional restaurant housed in a marvelous
Victorian building next to Goodspeed Opera House.

Lordy, lordy! What a building! I wonder what it started out in life as? Gor-gee-ous!

Re your question about bumper sticker: the answer is "Haysus"!

Re your comment on the poster: At first I thought you said you were a fan of old pastors! Which wouldn't be a bad thing. They need all the fans they can get! Or so I've heard!

What a pleasure it must be to visit both places: a great meal and a good show in those surroundings would make for a very enjoyable evening!

For some reason this reminds me of Mark Twain. Perhaps it is the white river boat style. I would love to dine and see a musical at this local.

This looks like it might be a good place to dine. And, it has the added benefit of being close to the Opera House. Dinner and a show anyone?

Yesterday the Opera House, today this one! This district of Hartford seems very attractive! I like this victorian architecture, one of my favorites.
