Weekend Reflections: Rainy Day Downtown

Looking north on Main Street.  City Hall and the Wadsworth Atheneum are out of the picture on my right.  Travelers Insurance is ahead on the right. The Gold Building is straight ahead, looming above Center Church.

You're at the curb, right? Great photo! My first thought after reading the caption, yep, that's the Gold Building for sure!

Looks cold and wet. So hot and humid here right now.

Very nice Jack. Focusing through the raindrops on the window adds depth and mood to this fine reflection.

I hope you're glad to see the rain. I am. It was getting mighty dry here.

Looks like the same weather as here. Car windows can add wonderful texture to rainy shots - nice one!

What great raindrops you captured, and the perspective is so interesting. Those buildings are nice with their colors, too. Such a nice shot. Genie

A nice capture of a rainy day. A perfect day for a book...or a beer...or both!

We could use some of that rain now. It's getting very hot and fires have already started. Cool shot, Jack.
