More Tulips

At tulip time, people and cameras are everywhere in Elizabeth Park.  They are so pretty I want to show you the tulips from another angle.

It is amazing how they are lined up so perfectly!

I don't know how the gardeners get them to grow so perfectly in a row. Must be a lot of work. But definitely worth it!!

So who weeds these gardens? I would love that work environment if they need any help:) Beautiful

You chose an interesting angle. I guess we all love tulips, esp. after a hard and long winter.

I like the way the flower beds have been designed. What a great place for photos.

I hope whoever works in this garden is proud of their work. It's just amazing.

Congratulations to the people who planted the tulips. The kept track of the different colors flawlessly when they planted. Now, if we could only have the same level of quality control in manufactured products, . . .

Fantastic composition Jack!
With this angle the garden looks even better.

How carefully the beds are arranged. Perfect little rows, I love this!

Nothing quite as cheerful as tulips (and daffodils). Do they replant new bulbs each year? Public spaces here tend to plow under bulbs after the season is over because they don't want to wait for the leaves to die back.

Lovely colours, and such an interesting composition. I love how the flowerbeds have become such a photographic hotspot!

I would love to know how they keep the squirrels away from the bulbs and the flowers! Beautiful!

This is lovely, Jack! We don't have tulips in parks, I guess it's too hot for them here.

How pretty - it could be Holland. I love your composition in the big photo.

They are so beautiful...and it is interesting I think, that if you let your imagination roam a bit, you can see little redcoat soldiers all lined up in a row! Isn't Hartford the place where the "shot was heard around the world"?

Oh, no. I think someone else said that or something similar about another state...

Just kidding. A really well done photo, Jack!

What pretty pictures of the tulips. This time of year wouldn't be the same without tulips and daffodils!
