A snowbird shows photos from southwest Florida and southern New England and other places he goes.
A little TLC would make this a grand entrance. Love the transom windows at top of door.
Got to say you do decay well! Nice shot of what appears to be a very fine dwelling that has been neglected. Got to wonder, though, if the exterior looks this bad what the interior looks like. And what it would cost to fix it up. Reminds me of a funny movie from years ago called, I think, The Money Pit.Have a great day! I'll be on ze golfs course.
Are you joining the "Wednesday doorway movement"?!We are 4 now to do it, VDP, Clueless in Boston, me, and now you! I don't know how to organise it in a more oficial way. Any idea? And I like your picture, it shows what was surely a glorious past..
This is a terrific meme because of the many possibilities. I hope that Malyss can get some help to get this off the ground so more bloggers could join. Love the look of this building that must have had a grand past, and with some renovation could again shine! Re. your Red HAt question...no, I do not belong altho I love hats.
It may need some love, but the details are fabulous!
Good composition here.
Beautiful building that some tender loving care would enhance.
Definitely has potential with some TLC. Love the dental above the door -- nice details. Interesting composition, Jack.
Great old house that could surely use some loving care! Great shot as always, Jack!Sylvia
I love your composition here! The details are so beautiful, I hope the house finds someone to love it. Well, someone who loves it AND has money and/or time!
Looks like that place has great bones so I hope someone rescues it soon!
That looks like it has been well-loved, but yes, could use a bit more now.Like the grandness of this place.
A beautiful old house, some restoration would be nice!
Yes, love...and probably some money as well. :)
If that was Paris we would be raving about how charming it is! :)V
Looks like it needs a whole lot of loving and some color too.
Spot on shot! Shame about the neglect. Such lovely architectural details.RE Oxford classes - sounds like so much fun - what studies did you do?
